Avoided Energy Costs for Hawaiian Electric Co., Maui Electric Co. and Hawaii Electric Light Co.

The Avoided Energy Costs and Schedule Q rates (applicable to kWh purchases from qualifying facilities of 100 kW or less) are calculated based on the methodology approved by the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission in Decision and Order No. 24086 in Docket No. 7310.  This methodology is applicable effective August 1, 2008.
